Appropriate Technology Library
As
part of the Apace commitment to promote sustainable development, a library and
resource centre have been established at Winter House which has an extensive
collection of material on appropriate technologies and other environmental
topics. The collection includes monographs, journals, audio visual material and
teaching aids. This unique library provides a good range of topical books and
publications with a reading room and photocopying facilities. You are invited to
make use of its services.
The Library and Resource Centre is open 9 am - 5 p.m. Monday to Friday and is
part of the inter-library loan system of WA enabling members to access material
through your local lending-library. Members of the public are welcome to use the
Centre for research and reference. Apace members may borrow books and
non-current journals for up to four weeks.
Membership costs $10 p.a. [$5 if unwaged] and members receive a quarterly
newsletter and other benefits including advance notice of courses and other
events.
You will also receive a quarterly newsletter and advance notice of courses
and workshops.
