Volunteer handyperson wanted

Apace Native nursery is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and well-rounded individual to assist us in the role of ‘Volunteer Handyperson’. Some previous experience in handyman work would be ideal. Regular ‘fix it’s’ involve tending to our aging infrastructure – skills in metal work and welding, carpentry, reticulation, and machinery maintenance! We would be looking for a commitment of two days a week (of your choice!) to assist us with the upkeep and maintenance. Most tools and relevant PPE provided. We look forward to hearing from you!

We’re looking for a volunteers!

Calling for Volunteers!!

Today, we’re looking for a volunteer cleaner. Someone who could visit Apace for about 4 hours a week.  Tasks include vacuuming, dusting, kitchen tidying, floors and bathrooms and other bits and pieces. Although we can’t pay – we can offer friendship, happy morning teas or lunches with our other staff and volunteers and a great sense of being a part of this great Nursery community.

Tomorrow, we’ll be looking for some other volunteering roles. Watch this space!
